Synopsis: An Irish native and a Czech immigrant spend a week together working on music and finding out their love for one another.

Review: One of the sweetest films out there. Even if you see it just once, you'll love it. It's not 100% chick flick material because it's earthy, simple and realistic. Hansard and Irglová's chemistry is out of this world (they're together in real life). The Academy Award going to their song, "Falling Slowly," was well-deserved. The best sequence in the film is their recording session. Something transcendental happens when they play "When Your Mind's Made Up" that goes beyond words.
